What an amazing turnout on November 3, with about 1,000 community members coming out to cheer on the action as the World Famous Harlem Wizards made a return appearance to take on the Upper Moreland Bouncin’ Bears.
Immeasurable thanks to our Bouncin’ Bears players—teachers, administrative staff and students—who were great sports and gave it their all to benefit the students in our district. Special thanks to the administration for their support, the volunteers who kept things running smoothly and of course to the Wizards organization for being wonderful guests and providing a night filled with laughs and entertainment.
We had an amazing turnout at the 2023 UMEF Comic Con on February 4, 2023. Enormous thanks go to all of the vendors who came out to make the event a success, our speakers and all of the volunteers who brought it all together…and of course, the amazing Upper Moreland community for making it a joyful experience.
From unique merchandise for sale to our cosplay contest, our breakout sessions to fun raffles, it was a fantastic way to spend a Saturday and raise funds to benefit the Upper Moreland education community.
The Harlem Wizards bring their fun and family-friendly trick hoops and alley-oops to Upper Moreland to take on our very own Bouncin’ Bears at Upper Moreland High School.

The Upper Moreland Educational Foundation is hosting its UM’s Food Truck Festival on Friday, September 6th!
The event will take place from 4:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the Upper Moreland Middle School parking lot. All proceeds benefit the Upper Moreland Educational Foundation.
Do you want to be part of the action? Food truck vendors as well as craft/community tables will be set up along the route! In addition to the delicious food and dessert, the event will also feature various children activities, live music, and a wonderful atmosphere!
All proceeds benefit the Upper Moreland Educational Foundation (UMEF), which provides the Upper Moreland community with enhanced learning opportunities through creative and innovative educational programs. Over the past few years, the UMEF has awarded over $300,000 to the Upper Moreland Community.
